titleOfInvention | Rubber compound and molded article |
abstract | Disclosed is a rubber compound for pharmaceutical/medical use, which is characterized by containing a composition (component A) which is obtained by crosslinking 100 parts by mass of an isobutylene polymer (a) having an alkenyl group at an end by a hydrosilyl group-containing compound (d) while being melt-mixed in the presence of 5-100 parts by mass of a polyolefin (b) and 5-100 parts by mass of a polybutene (c), and a super high molecular weight polyethylene powder (component B). The rubber compound for pharmaceutical/medical use is free from deformations even under high temperature conditions and has sufficient compression set resistance when compared with conventional thermoplastic elastomers. In addition, the rubber compound for pharmaceutical/medical use has excellent mechanical properties, low water absorption, low reactivity and excellent gas barrier property, and is able to withstand high temperature sterilization. Also disclosed is a molded article. |
