titleOfInvention Temperature-stable oxynitride phosphor and light source comprising a corresponding phosphor material
abstract The invention relates to a novel phosphor material and a light source comprising said phosphor material. A novel phosphor material from the class of oxynitrides has the charge stoichiometry MO-SiO2-Si3N4, M preferably being Ba. The phosphor material is produced from the charge stoichiometry MO-SiO2-Si3N4, using an increased oxygen content as compared to the known phosphor material MSi2O2N2:D, with MO being an oxidic compound of M. The charge stoichiometry that is different from that of known compounds allows an improvement of many properties.
