titleOfInvention | Method for formulating odoriferous active ingredients in order to protect same and to increase the persistence thereof |
abstract | The invention relates to a novel method for formulating odoriferous active ingredients in order to protect them and slow down the evaporation process of said active ingredients. The method comprises using acrylic and thickening emulsions having a pH higher than 5 and containing hydrophobic groups in order to trap said active ingredients. The invention also relates to different embodiments of the active ingredients thus formulated: a mixture of said active ingredients with thickening emulsions in water, a dispersion of solid particles of said polymers and said active ingredients after acidification, and the dry solid particles obtained after water is removed. The invention further relates to the use of these different formulations in order to protect an active ingredient and to slow down the evaporation kinetics thereof. |
