abstract |
The invention relates to a method for producing (meth)acrylates, comprising the transesterification of an alcohol with a low-boiling ester of the (meth)acrylic acid in the presence of catalysts, the alcohol released by the low-boiling ester of the (meth)acrylic acid being removed by distillation. The invention is characterized in that the mole ratio of the low-boiling ester of the (meth)acrylic acid to the feedstock alcohol present in the reaction mixture is increased during the reaction by adding low-boiling esters of the (meth)acrylic acid. The method according to the invention allows an especially cost-effective production of high-purity (meth)acrylates. |
