titleOfInvention Successive clipping device
abstract A successive clipping device (10) comprises: a manipulating wire (20) inserted in the sheath (16) and having a forward end portion (40) connected to a rearmost clip (12E) to pull a clip series including a plurality of clips (12: 12A,12B,12C,12D and 12E); and a manipulating portion connected to a proximal end of the sheath to push out, for the foremost clip (12A) that has retreated in the sheath (16), the manipulating wire (20) with respect to the sheath (16) toward a forward end of the sheath by a first amount of movement necessary for causing the foremost clip to protrude from the forward end of the sheath, and push out, for the subsequent clip, the manipulating wire (20) with respect to the sheath (16) toward the forward end of the sheath by a second amount of movement smaller than the first amount of movement, and necessary for causing the subsequent clip to protrude from the forward end of the sheath (16).
