titleOfInvention | Use of fungicides for treating fish mycoses |
abstract | The invention relates to a method for protecting fish and invertebrates and all of the stages of development thereof from mycoses caused by fungi of the genera Saprolegnia, Aphanomyces, Achlyaflagellata and other significant species in aquaculture, using the above-mentioned selected fungicides, leading to an inihibition or destruction of pathogenic fungi. The means containing at least one fungicide selected from the above-mentioned group for use in fish-farming and fish-keeping is suitable for the prophylaxis and treatment of diseases affecting fish in aquaculture, farming ponds, farming tanks, aquariums, natural game fish waters, ponds and marine fish farms. The associated forms of application are addition to water and food and direct application. The addition of the inventive means to the water prevents spawn and fish from being infected by fungi. |
