abstract |
The invention relates to a method for determining a motor control parameter (Q-Inj, P-Opt) as a function of a fuel (C-Inj) to be injected at the start of an internal combustion engine. This method comprises a step (30, 32) for estimating a theoretical quantity (Q-Inj-Th) of fuel to be injected at startup in the engine by the use of a calculation model based on a predetermined chemical composition. fuel (C-Inj) and a step (34, 36, 38, 40, 40 ') for determining the engine control parameter (Q-Inj, P-Opt) by correcting an optimum reference value (P-0); Ref-Opt) of this parameter measured for a reference fuel, this correction being dependent on a comparison between this theoretical quantity (Q-Inj-Th) and an estimated value of a theoretical quantity (Q-Ref-Th) of fuel reference (C-Ref) to be injected at startup by the use (36) of the same calculation model. |
