abstract | Disclosed is a dielectric elastomer composition which has excellent flame retardancy and dielectric characteristics sufficient for an antenna material, while lowering environmental impact. Also disclosed is an antenna member obtained by molding such a composition. Specifically disclosed is a dielectric elastomer composition obtained by blending 50-400 parts by weight of a metal hydroxide such as an aluminum hydroxide powder or a magnesium hydroxide powder and 10-200 parts by weight of a bromine-based flame retardant other than polybromophenyl ether and polybromobiphenyl per 100 parts by weight of an elastomer such as an ethylene propylene rubber. This dielectric elastomer composition has a relative dielectric constant of not less than 3 and a dielectric loss tangent of not more than 0.02 at a frequency of 1 GHz and a temperature of 30˚C. Also specifically disclosed is an antenna member obtained by molding such a composition. |
