Method for muscle-specific delivery lipid-conjugated oligonucleotides |
abstract |
The invention describes a method for muscle-specific delivery of oligonucleotides to induce gene silencing by RNA interference or silencing of microRNAs in vivo. A liposome comprising triacylglycerol, phospholipids, glycerol and lipid-binding proteins aggregated via a linker molecule with a single- or double-stranded oligonucleotide that is stabilized by one or more oligonucleotide modifications is isolated from Intralipid and serves as tissue-specific carrier. |
