Process for preparing isocyanatoorganosilanes |
abstract |
The invention provides a process for cleaving carbamate-functional silane (C) to isocyanate-functional silane (I) and alcohol, in which a) the liquid, carbamate-functional silane (C) is heated under the action of a catalyst (K) in an evaporation unit under a pressure of more than 100 mbar, and b) the isocyanate-functional silane (I) formed in this process is evaporated. |
