titleOfInvention Method for setting temperature, pressure and concentration profiles of any, preferable gaseous media and hardware device for carrying out the method
abstract A method is provided with which the state variables, in particular temperature, of any one, e.g. gaseous, medium in a short time by optimized numerical calculation of the absorption cross sections, in particular the Voigtfunktion to be calculated for a large number of spectral lines and a large number of wavenumber grid points, using simple mathematical operations such as addition, multiplication and division is determined. An implementation of the method takes place in addition to a host PC computer by means of special, optimized hardware components. A coprocessor is built into a PC plug-in card (1) using one or more FPGA devices (3) and additional devices such as external memory (4), memory interface, PC interface (2).n n n Application in the monitoring and control of technical processes and in meteorological remote sensing.
