titleOfInvention Method and apparatus for positioning a therapeutic device in a tubular organ dilated by an auxiliary device balloon
abstract An apparatus and method for detecting, tracking and registering a device within a tubular organ of a subject. The method and apparatus are designed to allow navigation of a first device in a stenosis area of a tubular organ of a subject, noting the coordinates of the first device, and navigating a second device to the coordinates of the first device, for avoiding situations wherein walls of the tubular organ injured by the first device develop symptoms such as restenosys or thrombosis if the second device is shorter than the first device, or is misplaced relatively to the first device.
