abstract |
The determination process involves bringing the blood sample into contact with a detection reagent in which a peptide residue removable by thrombin is amidically linked to an electrogenic substance. The amount or activity of this substance is eliminated from the thrombin substrate by Xa-mediated thrombin activation, producing a measured signal from which the amount or quantity of the factor Xa inhibitor, e.g. a clotting time, is ascertained. |
