abstract Pigment layer, in particular for the permanent marking of glass (1), based on a polymer matrix (3), which reacts to a high-energy beam (2), in particular a laser irradiation, predominantly with pulverization, containing at least one titanium dispenser (31) and a carbon which is free from energy irradiation providing carbon dispenser (32). Under energy irradiation, a reaction takes place between the titanium dispenser and the carbon dispenser. Titanium carbide (34) is deposited on the surface of the glass.
