abstract A piezo-ceramic device is attached to the power wire of an engine to facilitate cleaner burning of fuel and improve to improve fuel consumption. In the presence of an electrical field around the power wire, the device directs acoustical energy of a subsonic frequency towards the combustion chamber which acts to ionize the fuel and impart a thrust on the piston.
