The invention relates to a PSA method for the adsorption separation and/or purification of a gaseous mixture containing several components, that comprises using one or more adsorbers each containing at least one bed of adsorbent particles for adsorbing at least one component of the gaseous mixture on said adsorbent particles, each adsorber undergoing adsorption/desorption cycles with adsorption and desorption steps, wherein said and at least one adsorbent bed contained in each absorber further includes particles of at least one phase change material (PCM), said PCM particles being in the form of agglomerates of several PCM micro-capsules, and said agglomerates being mixed with particles of adsorbents in order to form a composite bed containing said adsorbent particles and said agglomerates of micro-encapsulated PCM. The density of the PCM agglomerates is different from the density of the at least one adsorbent with which they are mixed in the composite bed. The ratio between the density of the PCM agglomerates and the density of the adsorbent particles (Rdensity) in the composite bed is such that: Rdensity £ 5.5 - (2. Rdiameter), where Rdensity is the ratio between the density of the PCM agglomerates and the density of the adsorbent particles, and Rdiameter is the ratio between the equivalent diameters of the CPM agglomerates and of the adsorbent particles, with Rdensity ³ 1 and Rdiameter ³ 1. |
