titleOfInvention Method for determining muscular fatigue
abstract The present invention relates to a method for determining muscular fatigue from electromyographic measurements. It is the object of the present invention to provide a method which enables a quantitative determination of the muscular fatigue, independent of the applied force, of the muscle analyzed and of the examined individual. This object is achieved by a method for determining muscular fatigue from electromyographic measured values, wherein raw electromyographic signals are detected, at least two electromyographic characteristic values are determined from the raw electromyographic signals and / or characteristic values derived therefrom, at least two of the electromyographic characteristic values being in the same direction with varying force and behave in opposite directions with varying fatigue or in opposite directions with varying force and in the same direction with varying fatigue, in at least a first calibration, a functional relationship between the at least two electromyographic characteristics is determined, in this calibration substantially no muscle fatigue occurs, and in a measurement and Evaluation phase, a difference between at least one currently determined electromyographic characteristic value and the functional relationship between the at least two electromyographisc hen a characteristic relationship between a known or determined by calibration muscle fatigue and this difference is determined and from this a value for the actual muscular fatigue is determined.
