abstract |
The present invention relates to an epoxy-solid resin-modified carboxyl-terminated butadiene / acrylonitrile copolymer CTBN whose terminal epoxide groups have been reacted, if necessary. Such a polymer is used in particular as impact modifier in epoxy resin compositions and proves to be particularly advantageous for bonding to or from metallic surfaces. It leads to a significant reduction in undercounter corrosion, which in turn ensures a long-lasting adhesive bond. |
