The invention describes a process for converting a feedstock consisting of alcohols having at least 2 carbon atoms into a base for diesel fuel, characterized in that it comprises: a reaction step a) of contacting the feedstock to be treated with a catalyst comprising at least one oxide-type matrix and at least one IM-5 zeolite, producing a gaseous phase, an organic liquid phase and an aqueous liquid phase. Said process allows the production of hydrocarbons which is mainly incorporated into the "diesel pool". |
