abstract |
The invention relates to the use of molded bodies as dust-binding means in vacuum cleaners. The molded bodies according to the invention have length/width/height dimensions ranging from 1 mm to 3 cm, at least one dimension being larger than 5.5 mm, and are produced by treating (a) an open-cell foam material having a density ranging from 5 to 500 kg/m3 and a mean pore diameter ranging from 1 μm to 1 mm (b) with an aqueous formulation of at least one compound having at least one hemiaminal group or aminal group per molecule or at least one copolymer which contains at least one OH group- or β-dicarbonyl group- or epoxy group-containing comonomer polymerized into it, (c) and a shaping step. |
