abstract The invention includes methods for analyzing copies of an antibody microarray for a protein complexed with another molecule. In this method, one biological sample is divided and then incubated with copies of an antibody microarray. Each capture antibody is paired with a detection antibody, and only one detection antibody is incubated with each copy of the antibody microarray. The invention further includes methods to compare protein complexes under different conditions, methods of detecting an auto-immune response, and methods of detecting interaction between a protein and a small molecule.
