abstract The present invention relates to a method of treating urinary incontinence, which comprises the steps of: introducing into the vagina of a woman a first disposable device; removing the first disposable device; and introducing a second substantially identical disposable device to the first disposable device. The disposable devices have a working portion with opposing work surfaces for supporting an associated urinary system, and an anchor portion adapted to hold the disposable device in place during use. The anchor portion has at least one member extending beyond at least one end of the work portion.
