titleOfInvention Precipitated silica for paper application
abstract The invention concerns a precipitated form of silica that can be used specifically in the paper industry and in particular in paper-coating applications for inkjet printing, comprising: - an uptake of DOP oil lower than 260ml/100g, - a porous volume (Vd25) of greater than 0.8 ml/g formed by pores with a diameter of less than 25 nm, - a CTAB specific surface area of greater than 280 m2/g. It also concerns a method for preparing such silica.
