- Method for optimizing the exploitation of an underground deposit, in which a geological model is updated using dynamic data and well tests.n n n - A reservoir model is constructed by scaling the geological model. Dynamic data is simulated from this reservoir model. Areas of influence are identified within the geological model where well tests induce pressure variation during well testing. Then, well trials are simulated for each zone of influence. An objective function is calculated that measures the difference between the simulated data and the measured data. Then, the geological model is modified so as to minimize the objective function, using a geostatistical parameterization technique. Finally, the exploitation of the underground deposit is optimized by evaluating, with the aid of a flow simulator, the production of the deposit for different production schemes.n n n - Application in particular to the exploitation of oil deposits. |
