abstract The invention relates to a reeling device comprising a reel (1) consisting of a drum (1A) and two lateral flanges (1B, 1C) and a reel support (3), on which the latter is rotatably mounted , this support comprising two lateral walls (3A, 3B) rigidly connected by at least two crosspieces arranged near two of their corners, said reel (1) being equipped with a stretcher (2) consisting of two arms (2A , 2B) connected to said drum, free to rotate along its longitudinal axis and connected by a gripping beam (2C) and said side walls (3A, 3B) of the support comprising arrangements for holding and locking this stretcher.n n n According to the invention, said locking arrangements ensure the locking of said gripping beam (2C) of the stretcher on said lateral walls (3A, 3B) of the support, so that this gripper cross constitutes an additional cross member integral with each of its walls near a corner of its walls.
