Disclosed is a polarizing plate protection film characterized by containing a sugar ester compound, a cellulose ester and a compound represented by the general formula (R) or (Ra) below. The sugar ester compound is obtained by esterifying a part or all of the OH groups in a compound (A) having one furanose structure or pyranose structure or in a compound (B) wherein not less than 2 but not more than 12 of at least either of the furanose structures or the pyranose structures are bonded. |
