Described are bioresorbable and thermoplastically deformable polymers with or without shape memory characteristics, which contain radiopaque assemblies in the repeating units of the polymer chains and / or are modified with bioresorbable, radiopaque nanoparticles. The polymers are largely characterized by a combination of required strength and sufficient deformability, good bioresorbability and sufficient visibility in the X-ray light, and are therefore particularly suitable for producing metal-free occlusion instruments for closing defects of the septum in the heart, wherein their placement with the usual X-ray diagnostic methods is traceable. |
