titleOfInvention Ophthalmologic device for refractive correction of an eye
abstract An ophthalmological device (1) for the refractive correction of an eye (2) comprises a first laser source (Q1) for generating a pulsed first laser beam with femtosecond laser pulses and a second laser source (Q2) for generating a second laser beam (L2) in the medium wave infrared range. The ophthalmic device (1) further comprises a common optical light projector (11) for focused projection of the first laser beam in a first mode of operation and for focused projection of the second laser beam (L2) in a second mode of operation respectively for dissolving eye tissue. The use of a common optical light projector (11) for cutting the tissue flap (22) by means of the femtosecond laser pulses and subsequent refractive corrective tissue removal by means of the laser beam (L2) in the medium-wave IR range has the advantage that neither the light projector (11) replaced nor the patient must be repositioned so that neither the accuracy nor the duration of the surgical procedure are affected or delayed.
