abstract | The application deals with an implant (1) for treating both stress urinary incontinence and anterior vaginal wall prolapse comprising a central body (2) having a central longitudinal axis and comprising a central base (8) and two lateral supporting parts (7) positioned on each side of the central base regard to the central longitudinal axis, two inferior tapes (6) extending laterally outward from the two lateral supporting parts (7), two superior tapes (5) extending laterally outward from each side of the central body, characterised in that the inferior and superior tapes (6,5) are oriented in the direction of the front of the implant, the inferior tapes (6) being adapted to support the bladder and the superior tapes (5) to correct stress urinary incontinence, and a method for treating both stress urinary incontinence and anterior vaginal wall prolapse. |
