abstract |
The present invention provides a method for transforming a plant of the family Araceae, comprising introducing a foreign gene into an embryogenic callus of the plant through infection of the callus with Agrobacterium or a microorganism capable of introducing a gene therein by an analogous mechanism to that of Agrobacterium, thereby preparing a transformed embryogenic callus. |
