abstract A resin composition for radiation curing which comprises a resin component comprising an epoxy resin having a naphthalene skeleton or a biphenyl skeleton and/or an oxetane resin, from 0.005 to 0.5 mol per kg of the resin component of a polymerization initiator which is a boron-containing diallyliodonium salt and a viscosity regulating agent, wherein the viscosity of the resin composition at 50oC is 50Pa.s or higher; and a prepreg which is obtained by impregnating a fibrous reinforcing agent with the above-described resin composition. Since this resin composition is excellent in reactivity, the prepreg consisting of the resin composition and a fibrous reinforcing agent is usable in producing composite materials and members particularly suitable in the fields of flight and cosmos.
