titleOfInvention Method for producing alkyl amines by reacting olefins with ammonia
abstract The invention relates to a method for producing alkyl amines by reacting olefins with ammonia under hydroaminating conditions on a calcinated zeolithic catalyst in an adiabatically operated reactor unit. Said method is characterised in that the reaction mixture containing the starting olefin, ammonia and corresponding alkyl amine is removed from at least one region and brought into indirect thermal contact with the reaction mixture in at least one region in the reactor unit which has a respectively lower concentration of alkyl amine in relation to the region from which the reaction mixture is removed.
