abstract |
Disclosed is a method for producing a reflective, waterproof, steam-permeable membrane. Said method encompasses the following steps: a waterproof, steam-permeable membrane is provided; a carrier foil is provided; the membrane is applied to the carrier foil; a metallic surface is attached to the free surface of the membrane via a vacuum-steam process; a waterproof, steam-permeable covering layer is applied; the carrier foil is removed. Also disclosed is a reflective, waterproof, steam-permeable membrane comprising a metal coating that is provided with a continuous covering layer. The inventive membrane is characterized that at least 80 percent of the surface of the active metal coating are preserved on the membrane after three washing processes according to DIN EN ISO 6330:2000. |
