abstract | Crude sevoflurane product comprising unacceptably high levels of HFIP can be purified by combining the crude sevoflurane product with sufficient water to produce a multiphase mixture, fractionally distilling the multiphase mixture, and removing substantially pure sevoflurane from the distilling multiphase mixture.
