Resin composition for foam and use thereof |
abstract |
Disclosed is a resin composition capable of forming foams (non-crosslinked and crosslinked foams) which have a low specific gravity and a low compression set (CS), while being excellent in tensile strength, tear strength and vibration damping characteristics at from room temperature to high temperature. Also disclosed is a foam of such a resin composition. Specifically disclosed is a resin composition for foams containing 5-95 parts by weight of an ethylene/α-olefin copolymer (A) and 5-95 parts by weight of a hydrogenated copolymer (B) obtained by hydrogenating a copolymer composed of a conjugated diene and a vinyl aromatic compound. This resin composition for foams is characterized in that the hydrogenated copolymer (B) does not have a glass transition temperature of -10˚C or less when measured at a frequency of 1 Hz in accordance with JIS-K7198. |
