Method and device for representing a dynamic functional image of the brain, by locating and discriminating intracerebral neuroelectric generators and uses thereof |
abstract |
The invention concerns a method for representing a dynamic functional image of the brain. It consists in acquiring (A) for a specific duration a plurality of electrophysiological signals {eSi}N1 of cerebral activity from a set of electrodes {Ei} N1 placed on the scalp of (S) of the subject; locating (B) the set of neuroelectric generators {g?jk}JK11 in the cerebral volume from a three-dimensional image {Ck} K1 of a set of successive cross-sections of the brain and applying the inverse problem; discriminating (C) in the active zones comprising neuroelectric generators the synchrony existing between the pairs of electrophysiological signals/neuroelectric generators in a plurality of frequency bands, to detect groups of discriminating neural networks {RNdk}K1. The invention is useful for non-invasive study of provoked or unprovoked functional anomalies. |
