abstract The invention relates to an agent for use in dishwashers, which enables the dishwasher to be fragranced during a long rinsing interval and simultaneously improves the abperl behaviour of the rinsing water in the drying phase and which has a solid, preferably, granular structure at normal temperature. Said agent can be produced by using a solid fragrance, known per se. Said solid fragrance contains a support material which is made from fatty alcohol or a mixture containing fatty alcohol and which is solid at normal temperature, and a fragrance which is liquid at normal temperature and which is soluble therein, in a quantity ratio ranging from between 40 wt. % and 60 wt. % of support material and between 60 wt. % and 40 wt. % of fragrance.
