titleOfInvention Use of an organosilicon coupling agent in rubber compositions with an inorganic filler
abstract The invention relates to the use of an effective amount of a coupling agent (A), comprising an organosilicon compound with coupling agent functions for inorganic/elastomeric filler in rubber compositions comprising: (B) at least one natural or synthetic rubber-type elastomer, (C) an inorganic filler as reinforcement filler, (D) all or part of the other constituents or additives normally used, comprising in particular, vulcanisation agents; the use being characterised in that: the coupling agent (A) is a functionalised organosilicon compound, comprising the two following species (i) et (2i), (i) being at least one functionalised siloxane corresponding to the formula (I): [(G0)3SiO1/2]m [(G0)2SiO2/2]n [G0SiO3/2]o [SiO4/2]p [(G2)a(G1)a'(Z-CO-N=N-CO-A)SiO(3-a-a')/2]q in which the symbols Z, G1, G2, G0, a, a', m, n, o, p and q have the definitions given in claim 1, (2i) being a mixture of at least one functionalised siloxane (i) with (3i) at least one functionalised organosilane corresponding to formula (I) where m = n = o = p = 0 (zero), q = 1, a = 0, 1, 2 or 3 and the sum a + a' = 3 and said coupling agent (A) is incorporated in rubber compositions made from isoprene elastomers.
