titleOfInvention Working fluids for an absorption cooling system
abstract The invention provides a working fluid for an absorption cooling system of the type including a liquid absorbent that remains in the liquid phase throughout the operation cycle, and a refrigerant having both a liquid phase and a vapor phase in the cycle, wherein the system comprises a mixture of between about 2 and 30 w/w% of tetraethylene glycol dimethyl ether (tetraglyme) and between about 98 and 70 w/w% poly (ethylene glycol) dimethyl ether (polyglyme) as the absorbent therein, in combination with a commonly used refrigerant.
