abstract The application relates to an analysis system and method for analyzing a sample on an analytical test element, the analysis system comprising a test element receptacle (1) for receiving and positioning a test element (4) in an analysis position. The test element receptacle (1) contains a guide part (2) and a locking part (3), wherein the guide part (2) has means for guiding a test element (4) into and out of the analysis position and the locking part (3) has a frame (3). 5) and a locking element (6), which are connected to each other via a film hinge (7). The locking element (6) is pivotable relative to the frame (5) about the film hinge (7) from a first to a second, the film hinge (7) deforming position. The locking element (6) comprises a latching nose (8) for engagement in a recess (9) of a test element (4) positioned in the analysis position in the first position of the locking element (6).
