abstract | A method for detecting a substance bound to a nuclear receptor in a test sample, comprising the steps of contacting the surface having a cofactor bound thereto with a nuclear receptor protein for the cofactor and a test sample and then detecting a substance bound to the nuclear receptor protein based on, as an index, the change in binding frequency between the nuclear receptor protein and the cofactor. The method is a means for detecting a biologically relevant substance utilizing a nuclear receptor-cofactor system, by which the detection becomes easy to operate and the establishment of the detection system can be achieved efficiently while keeping high detection sensitivity. |
