abstract |
An antibody having the following properties or an active fragment thereof or a derivative of the antibody or the fragment: a) it is capable of binding specifically to human platelet membrane glycoprotein VI (GPVI); b) it has a low platelet-activating effect and/or a low effect of inducing the decrease in platelets in vivo; and c) it can obliterate GPVI on the platelet membrane at least partly when it is contacted with a platelet. |
