abstract | The invention relates to spheroids which are obtained using a method comprising the following steps consisting in: supplying an active principle of vegetable origin in an isolated form; supplying a solution of vegetable origin, containing the active principle or a precursor thereof; supplying an absorbing and adsorbing substance having plastic properties that are compatible with the method; mixing said different products and wetting the mixture with a wetting liquid; extruding the wet mixture; and forming spheroids through the spheronisation of the extruded product. The invention also relates to sample applications such as artesunate-based antimalarial spheroids and aspirin-based spheroids. |
