This invention provides a power generation cell for a solid electrolyte fuel battery using a lanthanum gallate electrolyte as a solid electrolyte, particularly a structure of a fuel electrode in a power generation cell. The fuel electrode according to the first aspect of the present invention is a fuel electrode for a power generation cell for a solid oxide fuel battery, comprising a porous nickel skeleton having a structure comprising nickel particles (1), which have been mutually sintered to form a network, and ceria particles (2) having an average particle diameter of not more than 100 nm adhered onto the surface of the skeleton, the ceria particles (2) being doped with B which is one or at least two of Sm, Gd, Y, and Ca. The ceria particles (2) are most densely adhered to form a ring around a neck part (3) in the skeleton structure comprising mutually sintered and bonded nickel particles (1). |
