titleOfInvention | LOW PROFILE, DURABLE, REINFORCED ePTFE COMPOSITE GRAFT |
abstract | A composite graft (10) having a first seamless tubular layer (22) including biocompatible first polymeric material and having a luminal surface and an exterior surface; a biocompatible reinforcing member (24) arranged in a pattern to define a second tubular layer (20), the second tubular layer (20) being disposed over the exterior surface of the first tubular layer (22); and a third seamless tubular layer (18) including biocompatible second polymeric material and having a luminal surface and an exterior surface. The luminal surface of the third tubular layer (18) is securably disposed over the second tubular layer (20) and over the first tubular layer (22). The tubular layers (18, 20, 22) define a wall of the graft (10) having a wall thickness of less than 0.1 mm. Desirably, the graft wall thickness is less than 0.05 mm. |
