The present invention provides a medical instrument with use of a composite material, which has antithrombotic characteristics and biocompatibility, has a favorable strength per se and is excellent in handling properties. A part or the whole of a section of the medical instrument, which is brought into contact with blood, is made of or coated with the composite material, which has antithrombotic characteristics and in which carbon nanotubes are blended with matrix resin. |
