abstract |
The present invention relates to a composition and methods for treating tinnitus. In preferred embodiments of the invention, muscurinic and/or opioid agents are administered to the affected ear in amount effective to relieve one or more tinnitus symptoms. A preferred agent is an anticholinesterase inhibitor, such as neoostigmine. |
