titleOfInvention BLOCKING REINFORCING REINFORCING AGENT FOR PERMEABLE MEMBRANE, METHOD FOR INCREASING LOCKOUT RATIO, PERMEABLE MEMBRANE, AND WATER TREATMENT METHOD
abstract A blocking ratio enhancing agent for permeable membrane, characterized by containing an ionic polymer of ≥ 10×104 weight average molecular weight; a method of blocking ratio enhancement for permeable membrane, characterized in that the permeable membrane is treated with the above blocking ratio enhancing agent; a permeable membrane characterized by being produced through treatment according to the above method; and a method of water treatment, characterized in that use is made of this permeable membrane. By virtue of the use of the above blocking ratio enhancing agent, in the membrane separation using a selective permeable membrane, such as a nanofiltration membrane or a reverse osmosis membrane, the state of having the blocking ratio of inorganic electrolyte, water soluble organic matter, etc. enhanced can be maintained for a prolonged period of time simply, easily and safely at membrane utilization locations without any marked reduction of permeation flux. Furthermore, there are disclosed a method of blocking ratio enhancement wherein use is made of the above enhancing agent, a permeable membrane having the blocking ratio enhanced through treatment according to the above method, and a method of water treatment using this permeable membrane.
