abstract |
Inactivated whole HIV of a particular subtype is used to prepare vaccines and pharmaceutical compositions containing the vaccines. The vaccines can be used to treat individuals chronically infected with HIV, by inducing a protective cellular immune response in the individuals against the same HIV subtype used to produce the vaccine. |
