abstract |
The invention relates to an improved method for the production of chiral N-substituted N-methyl-3-hydroxy-3-(2-thienyl)-propylamine, on an industrial scale by using asymmetric hydrogenation as a key step and, optionally, a special sequence of successive steps. A catalyst system consisting of rhodium and (2R, 4R)-4-(dicyclohexylphosphino)-2-(diphenyl-phosphino-methyl)-N-methyl-aminocarbonyl-pyrrolidine is used. |
